The annual accounts for the parish are prepared to 31st December of each year. These and the six monthly accounts to 30th June are made available to parishioners in the narthexes of the churches as well as being published in the annual reports. We can no longer provide separate accounts for All Saints and St Ambrose. The accounts are consolidated for the annual returns to the Diocese. There are also accounts prepared for the All Saints Building Fund which was set up when the church was re-ordered in 1999 and the parish took on a loan from the Diocese which is still being repaid. The parish relies on contributions from parishioners to operate and maintain its buildings. A significant benefit is obtained from Gift Aid Donations whereby the parish is able to claim tax relief on contributions from registered tax payers. The parish has recently launched a Planned Giving Appeal with the objective of increasing its income in order to pay for a significant backlog of required maintenance work on its buildings. In view of the increasing burden of the building maintenance costs, a decision was taken to sell the Priest’s House at 12 Chichele Road, Oxted. A smaller property has been purchased next to the All Saints Church off Bluehouse Lane for the Parish Priest to live in and the parish office has been moved to St Ambrose Church, Warlingham.
